Ironworker
Responsible for fabricating and assembling iron and steel products. Weld, cut, and fill to create objects that are used in construction, manufacturing, and other fields. Truck Driver - CDL A or B
Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. No recent moving or driving violations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc). Valid truck driving licence. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenancees. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. As a lead mechanic, you will be responsible for driving to the job site, inspecting engines and equipment, carrying out services, conducting repairs, and providing routine maintenance to the construction fleet.
To ensure success as a heavy equipment mechanic, you should have proven experience working with heavy machinery, be physically fit, and be able to troubleshoot issues on the job site.
